This policy is the posted standard referenced in art. 10 (4)(5) and art. 11 (2)(3) of the apitree Terms of Service. It is never applied to members less favorably than the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and the Consumer Dispute Resolution Standards. The Korean version is authoritative.

1. Credit types and validity

Paid top-up credits (credit packs and auto top-up purchases) are valid for 5 years from the purchase date (Terms art. 7 (4)). They remain usable after a subscription is cancelled. We email you 60 days and 7 days before expiry.
Subscription-included credits are valid only for the billing period in which they were granted. They expire at the end of the period and do not roll over.
Free, trial, and promotional credits are valid for the period stated when granted and are not refundable.
Credits are consumed in this order: free credits, then subscription-included credits, then paid top-up credits. Within a type, credits closest to expiry are consumed first.

2. Withdrawal within 7 days of payment

Paid top-up credits are refunded in full, with no fee, if you request within 7 days of payment and none of that purchase has been used.
Subscription fees are refunded in full, with no fee, if you request within 7 days of payment and none of the period's included credits have been used. If some were used, the formula in section 4 applies without the 10% deduction.
Credits already used are digital content whose provision has begun and are not subject to withdrawal (E-Commerce Act art. 17 (2) 5). Trial credits are provided so you can test the products before paying.

3. Refund of remaining paid credits (after 7 days or after partial use)

The refund equals the unused balance converted at the actual unit price you paid for that purchase, minus the deduction below.
The deduction is 10% of the converted amount. If the converted amount is KRW 10,000 or less, a flat KRW 1,000 is deducted instead. If the remainder after deduction is smaller than the deduction itself, no refund is made.
When the balance spans several purchases, consumption is applied to the oldest purchase first, so refunds are settled from the most recent purchase.
Free, trial, promotional, and subscription-included credits are not refundable under this section.
When a refund is completed, auto top-up for the organization is switched off automatically and you are notified by email.

4. Subscription refunds and cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time from Billing settings in the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the next renewal date. You keep access for the rest of the period and can undo the cancellation before the renewal date.
If you end a monthly subscription mid-period and request a refund, the refund equals (monthly fee − included credits used this period × KRW 29) × 90%. Requests within 7 days of payment are not subject to the 10% deduction. Once refunded, the subscription ends immediately, remaining included credits expire, and paid top-up credits are kept.
If you end an annual subscription mid-term, the refund equals remaining months × (annual fee ÷ 12) minus 10%.
If a subscription ends for reasons attributable to apitree, such as service discontinuation or a prolonged outage without prior notice, we refund the fee for the remaining period plus 10% of that amount. Credit reversals for individual failed calls follow Terms art. 11 (4) and the billing policy.

5. Failed renewal payments and grace period

If a renewal payment fails, a 7-day grace period begins. We retry on day 1, day 3, and day 7 after the failure and email you at each attempt. Registering a new payment method triggers an immediate retry.
During the grace period you can keep using paid top-up credits, but the new period's included credits are not granted until payment succeeds.
If payment has not succeeded by the day-7 attempt, the subscription is cancelled and the stored payment method is deleted. Paid top-up credits remain usable within their validity period.

6. Recurring payment notices

Every renewal payment is confirmed by email with the amount, date and time, payment method, and next renewal date.
For annual subscriptions we email the upcoming amount and date 7 days before renewal.
Any price increase requires your consent at least 30 days in advance, together with notice of the cancellation terms. The free trial does not collect a payment method and never converts to a paid subscription automatically.

7. How to request and processing time

Request a refund from Billing settings in the dashboard or by emailing the address below. Please include your organization name and the item to refund (subscription or a specific top-up).
We process refunds within 3 business days of receiving the request. We reverse the original payment where possible; if the payment provider's reversal window has passed, we refund by bank transfer and may deduct a KRW 500 transfer fee.
If a refund is delayed, we pay late interest at the rate set by the Enforcement Decree of the E-Commerce Act.

8. Changes to this policy

Changes are posted on this page at least 7 days before they take effect. Changes unfavorable to members are posted 30 days in advance and announced by email.
