Cache Miss
You pay the per-call rate. 80% goes to the API provider, 20% to apitree. Provider API is called in real-time.
Cache Hit instant
Same per-call rate, but response is instant from Redis cache. No provider call needed — you get sub-10ms latency.

1 credit = $0.001 USD. Each API call costs a number of credits based on the API's pricing. Free plan includes 10,000 calls.

Do I need a credit card?

How does caching affect pricing?

You pay the same per-call rate whether the response is cached or not. Cached responses are instant (sub-10ms) — you benefit from speed, apitree handles the infrastructure.

Can AI Agents use apitree?

Yes — that's the primary use case. Install the MCP Server (npx @apitree/mcp-server) and AI Agents can discover and call any API automatically.

What happens when I exceed my plan?

Growth and Scale plans have sliding overage discounts (-10% and -20%). Starter pays per-API overage rates. Free plan is hard-capped.

Can I switch plans?

Yes, upgrade or downgrade anytime. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
